Terms and Conditions of Sale
By purchasing products from Daffy & Yarn (“Daffy & Yarn”) or using this website the purchaser (“The Customer”), agrees to the following terms and conditions of sale.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply.
If a product is found to be mis-addressed by Daffy & Yarn, then Daffy & Yarn shall be responsible for the re-delivery, replacement or refunding of the product. If the Customer is found to have given an incorrect or insufficient address, then Daffy & Yarn will not refund or resend the product and all responsibility for correcting delivery will be borne by the Customer.
All prices are New Zealand GST inclusive unless otherwise stated.
Description of Goods
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you. We aim to hold stock of all styles and colours etc., whilst a product is active. However, occasionally an item will be out of stock and if this is the case this will be highlighted.
Postage & Delivery
Orders are usually despatched within 3 working days, to arrive with NZ customers within 3-4 working days. In the event that an item is delayed, we will notify you of the delay and despatch it as soon as it is possible. A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate. Our postage and packing rates are based on the value of the total order.
Privacy & Security
Daffy & Yarn is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of any personal information received from you.
Your name and address details remain confidential with us and will not be exchanged or handed to any third party.
Returns & Replacements Returns
We check everything before we send it to you and do our very best to ensure that all our products are of the highest quality. However, should you receive damaged goods, then please notify us within 3 days of receipt. If the Buyer fails to do so the Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods.
Where a claim of defect or damage is made the Goods shall be returned by the Buyer to the Seller. (We would suggest you obtain a proof of posting receipt from the post office as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit.) The Buyer shall be entitled to a full refund (including delivery costs) plus any return postal charges if the Goods are in fact defective.
